Privacy Policy

Narsil ("we", "the service") is a Telegram bot that allows users to manage their calendar and tasks through natural language conversations — voice messages, text, or photos. This Privacy Policy describes what data we collect, how we use it, and how we protect it.

1. What data we collect

• Telegram user ID — numeric identifier required to send messages back to the user.
• Time zone — required to correctly interpret dates and times.
• Google OAuth token — an encrypted access token for Google Calendar and Google Tasks. This is not the user's Google password.
• App-specific passwords (Yandex, Mail.ru, Apple users only) — a restricted password that grants calendar-only access, stored encrypted on our server.
• Notification preferences — digest schedule, reminder settings, quiet hours.

2. What we do NOT collect

• First name, last name, or phone number
• Google account password or full account credentials
• Content of calendar events or tasks (not stored on our servers)
• Voice messages — deleted immediately after transcription

3. How we use data

Data is used exclusively to provide the service features: creating, editing, and deleting calendar events and tasks; sending reminders and daily digests. We do not use data for advertising or sell it to third parties.

4. Google API Access — Limited Use Disclosure

Narsil uses the following Google APIs to read and write calendar data on behalf of the user:

• https://www.googleapis.com/auth/calendar — read, create, update, and delete calendar events
• https://www.googleapis.com/auth/tasks — read, create, update, and delete Google Tasks

We use Google user data only to:

• Create, read, update, and delete calendar events and tasks as explicitly requested by the user
• Display the user's schedule when requested
• Send reminders based on calendar events

We do NOT:

• Use Google user data for advertising purposes
• Sell Google user data to third parties
• Allow humans to read Google user data unless required for security investigation or with explicit user consent
• Transfer Google user data to third parties except as necessary to provide or improve user-facing features

You can revoke Narsil's access to your Google account at any time at: myaccount.google.com/permissions

5. Data storage and security

All OAuth tokens and app-specific passwords are stored encrypted using AES-256 (Fernet). Data is transmitted over HTTPS. The server is located in a secured environment.

6. Third-party sharing

We do not sell or share personal data with third parties. Data is transmitted only to Google LLC and respective calendar providers (Yandex, Mail.ru, Apple) as part of direct API interactions necessary to provide the service.

7. Data deletion

Users can delete all their data at any time through the bot menu ("Disconnect calendar"). Upon disconnection, all tokens and settings are permanently deleted from our servers.

Narsil («мы», «сервис») — Telegram-бот для управления календарём голосом и текстом. Настоящая политика описывает какие данные мы собираем, как используем и как защищаем.

1. Какие данные мы собираем

• Telegram ID — числовой идентификатор пользователя в Telegram. Необходим для отправки сообщений.
• Часовой пояс — для корректной работы с датами и временем.
• OAuth-токен Google — зашифрованный токен доступа к Google Calendar и Google Tasks. Не является паролем от аккаунта.
• Пароль приложения (для Яндекс, Mail.ru, Apple) — специальный ограниченный пароль, зашифрованный на сервере. Даёт доступ только к календарю.
• Настройки уведомлений — время дайджеста, напоминания, тихие часы.

2. Что мы НЕ собираем

• Имя, фамилия, номер телефона
• Основной пароль от Google, Яндекс, Apple или Mail.ru
• Содержимое событий и задач (не хранится на наших серверах)
• Голосовые сообщения — удаляются сразу после распознавания

3. Как мы используем данные

Данные используются исключительно для предоставления функций сервиса: создание, редактирование и удаление событий и задач в календаре пользователя, отправка напоминаний и дайджестов.

4. Доступ к Google Calendar

Narsil использует Google Calendar API и Google Tasks API для чтения и записи событий и задач по запросу пользователя. Мы запрашиваем только необходимые разрешения:

• https://www.googleapis.com/auth/calendar — чтение и запись событий
• https://www.googleapis.com/auth/tasks — чтение и запись задач

Доступ можно отозвать в любой момент: myaccount.google.com/permissions

5. Хранение и защита данных

Все токены и пароли приложений хранятся в зашифрованном виде (AES-256 через Fernet). Сервер расположен в защищённой среде. Передача данных осуществляется по HTTPS.

6. Передача третьим лицам

Мы не продаём и не передаём персональные данные третьим лицам. Данные передаются только в Google LLC и соответствующие провайдеры календарей (Яндекс, Mail.ru, Apple) в рамках прямого взаимодействия с их API.

7. Удаление данных

Пользователь может удалить все свои данные в любой момент через меню бота («Отключить календарь»). После отключения все токены и настройки удаляются.
