Narsil is a Telegram bot that lets users manage their Google Calendar and Google Tasks through natural language — voice messages, text, or photos. No forms, no clicks. Just say what you need.
Users connect their Google account to the Narsil Telegram bot. After authorizing access, they can create, read, update, and delete Google Calendar events and Google Tasks by sending natural language commands or voice messages directly in Telegram.
The app understands commands like "Schedule a call with Anna on Friday at 3 PM", "What's on my schedule tomorrow?", or "Remind me in 2 hours". It also reads photos (event flyers, tickets) and extracts date/time information to create calendar entries automatically.
The core functionality of Narsil depends entirely on reading and writing the user's Google Calendar and Google Tasks data. Without this access, the bot cannot create events, show the user's schedule, update or delete meetings, or manage tasks.
Access is granted voluntarily by each user through the standard Google OAuth 2.0 consent screen. Users can revoke access at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions.
Narsil requests only the minimum permissions needed to operate:
No other Google data is accessed. User data is not sold or shared with third parties. OAuth tokens are stored encrypted (AES-256 / Fernet).
